A Prayer Request…

loving from the whole heart

He hugs "Bo" for taking him on a ride...

I have an important request.

People say prayer works.

I am asking for prayers and healing energy.

Please pray for my son.  He is a young man who is sadly, very lost and having a most difficult time.

Please see him receiving kindness and good care from the nurses and doctors.

Please ask that he be Well.

And, Please ask that I can carry on.

Thank you from all of my heart.

A Mother who loves her son, Michelle.

  1. May God shine His face upon you and your son. May He have mercy upon your son’s plight and touch your son’s mind with peace and clarity and bring healing by miraculous measures or the humdrum paths of medical fields. God, Who created all things and can change anything, create in Michelle a strength that outlasts the struggles and change, Lord, her struggles. Give her relief from the constant pain and the constant fight just to live life. Give them a break, Mighty God, give them a moment of joy, give them professionals who are truly interested in their lives and their health, give them people to help carry their burden in some way or another. We do not ask, Lord, as wishing upon a star or as though you are our genie in a bottle, but we ask because we know You love us, You care about our sadness and our pain. Fill them full to the brim with the knowledge of Your great love. And even though it does not change their circumstances, give them the assurance, Lord, that they are not alone, even in their aloneness. Heal the sick; give them the strength to continue to fight the fight if that healing does not come; make Michelle’s body strong and her ability to carry on even stronger. Heal the sick, Lord. Give her son hope in a hopeless world. And let them find joy in those small moments of success and intimacy. But we ask, oh God, for healing. Open our eyes to it. In Your name and in Your will, Amen

  5. Still thinking of you and your son. Hope you are taking care of yourself, too. I know it’s hard to think of yourself when someone else is in need, but you have your health issues too to consider. If you get too run down, you won’t be able to help your son as much. So, sending healing vibes/thoughts for both of you, and gentle (((((hugs))))). I’m sure that everyone’s prayers for your son and for you are helping. Stay strong! Know that many people care.

    • Hi Phylor, Thank you. I really appreciate your thoughts. I’m trying to take care of myself. My mom has come and is going to cook a nice meal. And you are right, the prayers are indeed helping. Trusting things will work out and letting go of all the worry is challenging, but I’m going to keep doing my best because I believe that is the best thing I can do for my son. Thanks for checking in again here. (((((hugs2u2))))).

    • CZBZ,

      Was looking over these wonderful comments and wanted to thank you for your warm wishes and prayers.
      I appreciate this very much. My son is safe as I write and for this moment, I guess, that must be enough.
      I hope he will begin feeling better soon. I hope too I am able to remain calm.
      Love,
      Michelle.

      PS CZ, my mum is coming for a visit, so, pray some more okay. –Just kidding ;)

    • Thank you Dreamwalker. Also, for the kind email. I’m working on having faith and trusting that things will work out and like you say, with positive results. It is a time of limbo and decisions and actions and it’s difficult to stay calm and keep the faith in the midst of it. I’m also trying to remember that it is my son’s health that is the most important thing, and not how I feel, if that makes sense.

      Love, Michelle.

  9. I want to say thank you to everyone for praying for my son.

    He is actually, to my delight, doing quite well at the moment, relatively speaking.

    Also, I must add, there has been a sense of Grace since I posted and asked for your prayers. I am absolutely with all my heart in Gratitude.

    I continue to pray that my son receives kind and professional help from those who are caring for him, and that he is Blessed with God’s Grace.

    Thank you again,
    Michelle.

  10. Hi Michelle, I just saw this post and ran to look for scripture to be of comfort to you and your son. I will be praying for both of you and just as you asked, that he be well and that you can carry on. You sound so discouraged and defeated, weary…..and it reminds me of Jesus’ prayer in the garden before He gave His life for His people, and His request of His friends, “can you not pray with me for one hour???” Yet how delighted I was to see all your friends on “dogkisses blogging” rush to gather with you in prayer and how precious to see that you are not alone, your friends are with you and the Lord is with you, and your son, and He of all the world knows the pain that you feel for your child, your son, and you can feel safe in Him and His provision in every detail of our lives. They are never hidden from Him for “the Lord of Israel never slumbers nor sleeps.” i am reminded also of the way He cared for them wandering in the desert for 40 years where they had a cloud to guide them from the sun in the day and stars to lead them at night, food for every day and water from the rock. We have living water by His Spirit to guide us to His loving arms. with love and peace and prayers, may the Lord be with you, ruthieann

    Psalm 34
    1I will bless the LORD at all times;
    his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
    2My soul makes its boast in the LORD;
    let the humble hear and be glad.
    3Oh, magnify the LORD with me,
    and let us exalt his name together!
    4I sought the LORD, and he answered me
    and delivered me from all my fears.
    5Those who look to him are radiant,
    and their faces shall never be ashamed.
    6 This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him
    and saved him out of all his troubles.
    7 The angel of the LORD encamps
    around those who fear him, and delivers them.
    8Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good!
    Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him!
    9Oh, fear the LORD, you his saints,
    for those who fear him have no lack!
    10 The young lions suffer want and hunger;
    but those who seek the LORD lack no good thing.

    11 Come, O children, listen to me;
    I will teach you the fear of the LORD.
    12 What man is there who desires life
    and loves many days, that he may see good?
    13 Keep your tongue from evil
    and your lips from speaking deceit.
    14 Turn away from evil and do good;
    seek peace and pursue it.

    15 The eyes of the LORD are toward the righteous
    and his ears toward their cry.
    16 The face of the LORD is against those who do evil,
    to cut off the memory of them from the earth.
    17 When the righteous cry for help, the LORD hears
    and delivers them out of all their troubles.
    18The LORD is near to the brokenhearted
    and saves the crushed in spirit.

    19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous,
    but the LORD delivers him out of them all.
    20He keeps all his bones;
    not one of them is broken.
    21 Affliction will slay the wicked,
    and those who hate the righteous will be condemned.
    22The LORD redeems the life of his servants;
    none of those who take refuge in him will be condemned

  14. Michelle your request is done and I am with a group tomorrow my friend and will ask and send a special request of special healing tomorrow also ,,

    I sense that although this is a traumatic time for both of you right now.. He is I feel in the best place for treatment.. although you may not see this at the moment.. and niether does he..

    But they can do wonders today Michelle.. and you could not carry on the way you were.. for the stress is so hurting you all… Be positive that your Son is in the best hands and the powers that be know that it will all come good eventually .. But the Road to recovery is somtimes a long rough ride… But we are here for you, as you are there for him.. But sometimes Michelle,.. we all have to travel along part of our path alone to grow and heal.. This is the hardest part.. where we have to let go and let others do the caring for a while..
    I am sending you much Love dear Friend.. Be strong- and stay positive that this is for the best in the long term healing for you Son..
    Hugs to you.. Dreamwalker xoxox
